General Clinical Research Center - provides the clinical research infrastructure necessary to perform high quality clinical research studies to UCSD investigators who receive funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), other Federal agencies or industry. Committed to facilitating interdisciplinary and collaborative patient-oriented research, the GCRC at UCSD equips scientists with the tools and specialized personnel required to perform high-quality research in a safe and controlled setting.

Clinical Investigation Institute - facilitates disease-oriented research and clinical trial activity at UCSD. The Institute provides an infrastructure to support the translation of fundamental biology into novel therapeutic interventions.
